Senior UX Designer

Join Ducky's agile team to deliver a groundbreaking carbon footprint calculator for Norwegian municipalities. Rarely has there been a shorter way from idea to testing and a huge environmental impact.

Ducky is developing an automated citizen carbon footprint calculator together with Asplan Viak and TietoEvry. This is our biggest investment since Ducky was founded in 2014. We're doing this because we want the largest possible impact on reducing global carbon emissions. If this sounds interesting, read on!

The position

As a full-time UX designer in Ducky, you are a key resource in our design group and in our recently established citizen footprint team. You will help design a web front-end for Ducky's footprint calculator, to be used by municipality environmental managers. Later you will work on tools to reach out to citizens who want to reduce their carbon footprint.

Preferred start date is October 2020, but this is no absolute. You will take part in agile development and testing over the winter of 2020. Next year you will collaborate closely with project partners and customers to further improve the solution. This team (like any other team in Ducky) has full control to its own resources and deliverables.

You will also join other teams in Ducky. Ducky currently offers services engaging individuals in reducing their carbon footprint. You can read more about this on
